Apocalyptica es una banda de metal sinfónico formada en Helsinki, Finlandia en 1992 por cuatro violonchelistas graduados de la academia de música clásica Sibelius. Es conocida por tocar canciones de Hard Rock/ heavy metal con violonchelos.
